I babysit two adorable sisters down the street from my home in Chapel Hill. About once a week I get to hang out with Violet (2 yrs) for a few morning hours and we go for long stroller rides to UNC's Old Well, or find hidden swing sets around the historic neighborhoods. Now that it's growing season, we visit her garden and harvest lettuce. Violet adores lettuce. I can hardly get our handfuls of fresh produce inside the house and rinsed before she goes at it! I thought I'd share a photo to prove that my dream of hearing little voices say, "More brussels sprouts please, Mom!" isn't completely out of touch with reality!

I guess getting you to love collards greens early in life paid off! Its time to pick strawberries and make jam!
