She comes, and she goes...

Like a gust of honeysuckle scented air, Jaclyn Konczal came into my life and made it eternally sweeter. Nearly three years ago we met through Rachael Wussow and enjoyed 2 years living in the same duplex right across from Meredith College, plus a summer as roommates. She's one of my nearest a dearest, shares my love for dancing at all times in all places, and hangs out with me in the Tall Girl Club.
I write all of this to invite you on an adventure. This past Monday I joined Jaclyn, Rachel Cropper, plus her mother and step-father at RDU to bid farewell....'cause my girlfriend is headed to Northern Uganda for the next year! She is actually on the last leg of her journey from London to Entebbe, Uganda as I type! And ya'll thought my month was a big deal!
Jaclyn has inspired and touched me and so many others with her love for all people, heart for social justice, passion for knowing Jesus in an authentic way, beautiful artwork, and joy for life! She majored in Art & Design at NCSU and will be using Art Therapy, among her many other gifts and talents, to work with Sudanese refugees.
I welcome you all to check out her blog: JaclynKonczal
And to see more pictures from her bittersweet departure check out my online album. Unfortunantly my computer wouldn't let me upload any more pictures for the blog :-(
Happy Valentine's Day my loves!
